Hell yeah!

As always, the Dirty and Pink is 21 and up ONLY. There are no exceptions to this. Sam and Anneliessa are going to have the end party for D&P 4 at the VaC! SO rad!

Dirty and Pink 4

This year there will be all the goodness of Dirty and Pink with a little extra love.

There will ALSO be a "Date Race". The way it will work... There will be ten teams, so twenty people total riding this race. You have to be female to register for this race but there will be no restrictions on gender for your partner. This race will be more endurance based and will require you and your partner to gather various items from through out the city. There will be tasks that you and your partner will have to accomplish separately and together. You will need a camera and the ability to print your pictures before you head through the finish line, and the entry fee will be fifteen dollars, which will be given back to you to spend on the ride. On May 1st, I will post an address where a postcard should be mailed with your name, and the return address that you want your invitation for the Date Race to be sent. In the event that I receive more than ten postcards on the first day, it will become a lottery style draw for the invitation. This promises to be incredibly fun and I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Ok ladies! It seems that the IRONMAN challenge is happening in boise on the 13th of June so the date will be June 6th 2009! I am encouraging you to all read the older posts to get a feel for Dirty and Pink if you have never raced before. This year's race will be similar to last year's as it will be a point based race. You need to keep in mind that even if you finish first that does not necessarily mean that you will win. After you have registered you will receive a spoke card and a manifest but remember, you will not be allowed to open your manifest until the race begins. On the manifest will be between 8-15 different places through out town that you will need to ride to and accomplish a specific task. Last year these tasks varied from hula hooping to answering trivia question(s). It is up to you to figure out the most paramount route for yourself or your team. Even though teams are an acceptable way to ride D&P, you will all be scored on an individual basis. After you arrive at a stop and you complete that task set before you the person running the stop will sign off on your manifest. When you have completed the manifest you will ride like the wind to the finish line where your points will be added up. Do not forget that the order that you come in will also determine the winner(s) so it is important to keep speed in mind . You will need to put your name on your manifest. The finish line has yet to be determined but we will let you know before hand so that you can have your buddies waiting for you at the end. Most likely it will be a place where there is beer.

It has been brought to my attention that the May 30th date just will not work. This is the weekend of the West Side Invite 2009. Any takers? We are down to two dates...throw in your two cents!
